Digital Leadership in the third and public sectors in Wales

21 June @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Cardiff, Wales

Digital leadership, digital maturity, digital transformation, digital inclusion …increasingly familiar terms appearing in discussions across all sectors in Wales. This lunchtime session will focus on areas of particular interest and relevance to the third and public sectors. It will be an opportunity to hear from people and organisations who are leading in this field and to share concerns, views and ideas with others. And a free light lunch too!

Hosted by the Wales Co-operative Centre in association with Tramshed Tech , we kicked off with four short presentations , followed by a focused discussion on the current state of play and the future needs of the sectors. Whether you are from a local authority, a health board, a third sector organisation, a social business or a co-operative, its important to be part of this conversation and help shape some of the thinking we all need to be doing as we face an increasingly challenging but exciting digital future.

The speakers we heard from:
Simon Renault, Head of Special Projects at Innovation Point and Digital Leaders Champion for Wales
Digital Communities Wales team at the Wales Co–operative Centre: digital leadership in digital inclusion
Rhondda Cynon Taff Council: Transforming the authority through digital strategy and action
David Veryard, Microsoft: Our digital future
