On Friday 7 August we will be hosting another virtual Digital Leaders Lounge with special guest Harriet Gridley, UK Director of No Isolation. No Isolation is a Norwegian startup, founded in October 2015, with a mission to reduce involuntary loneliness and social isolation by developing communication tools that help those affected. Their projects include the AV1 -a telepresence robot that acts as the child’s eyes, ears and voice in the classroom; and KOMP – a screen that lets digital children and grandchildren share photos, messages and make video calls with their analogue grandparents.
Harriet will join us to talk about tech for good and the role of technology in education.
Please join us to network and debate from the comfort of your home. We will be bringing people together from the public, the private and non-profit sector. The Digital Leaders Lounge is a virtual space sat cabaret-style with a main stage. Each table uses video, audio and chat to allow up to six people to interact naturally in real-time, from your desk. In short, it is all about real, human connection. You can move around the tables and enjoy presentations from the main stage. So please do come and join us on 7 August for our meetup by registering below. Places are limited so do not delay.
