Citizens First in a No Code World

This talk will be given by John McMahon, Product Director, IEG4

The current necessary focus on the digitisation of everything a council does provides an opportunity for a leap-frog moment.

Digital ‘sticking plasters’, rushed through to provide solutions that were good enough to respond to the crisis, have now given us the opportunity to stand back and think about how all council services are delivered end-to-end.

We live in an age where digital is ubiquitous in everything we do. So, it makes sense, at this critical juncture of digital strategy planning, to consider what our services will look like now and in the future. To empower your users to do more – without the need for IT – and, ultimately, to put #CitizensFirst.

Our session will cover three key areas with examples and case studies from councils:

  • Leap-frog low code and jump straight into no code service creation and delivery
  • Improving user journeys and engagement with genuine personalisation of digital services across the whole council
  • 2025 – The Rise of Generation Z, messaging and delivering services effectively for all generations of users
