The main ones are Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, big data, cybersecurity, robotics, virtual reality (VR), immersive technologies (XR) and Quantum computing. There has been a large increase in their impacts recently thanks to breakthroughs in science and technology, and they hold the potential to fundamentally transform the way the economy and society function.
