In July, Digital Tuesday’s event in Cardiff will be held in partnership with the GovTech Meetup.

GovTech is the concept of encouraging small, emerging technology businesses, to bring innovative solutions to public services, that once proven can move to scale both to the advantage of markets and society.

A new £20 million fund from Government is helping tech firms deliver innovative fixes

to public sector challenges. Tech firms bidding to the fund will have free reign to create truly innovative fixes. Those successful will receive funding and once a finalised product is created, the public sector partner can then choose to buy it.

The GovTech Meetup series is a new initiative between GDS Innovation, the new GovTech Catalyst team and Digital Leaders to regularly bring together innovators in the public and private sectors each month to get an update on the latest challenges, network cross-sector and share their innovations and challenges.

Join us in July for VIP a mix of short talks and updates on the GovTech Fund Challenge and funding rounds with an opportunity to meet the latest Challenge Winners and to network with GDS Innovation; Central Government; Local Government; tech suppliers to Government; and innovative start-ups in the GovTech space.

The Meetup will be accompanied by drinks and nibbles.
