Conference: Public Sector Innovation – Emerging Technologies, AI and Govtech

Join this full-day Conference held in partnership with Government, to hear keynotes discussing:

  • Government Innovation – a cross-government programme to create innovation in public services working inside out across central and local government, but engaging with private sector businesses
  • AI Innovation – The Office for AI – a joint team between DCMS and BEIS – has been set up to drive forward work on the Grand Challenge on AI and Data articulated in the Industrial Strategy and AI Sector Deal, which includes – alongside increasing skills provision and access to good quality data for AI – driving adoption across all sectors. The Office for AI hopes to raise awareness of the transformative potential of AI across Government to drive adoption and remain at the forefront of the AI and data revolution.
  • GovTech – the concept of encouraging small, emerging technology businesses, to bring innovative solutions to public service challenges in a formal process using a £20 million fund to facilitate the public sector engaging and creating solutions with the private sector for use across the whole public sector

During the day there will be presentations, exhibitors and networking with the latest challenge winners and some hand-picked start-ups as well as those who are working in emerging technology sectors and actively looking to supply innovative solutions to public sector services.
