The GovTech Meetup series is a new initiative between GDS Innovation, the new GovTech Catalyst team and Digital Leaders to regularly bring together innovators in the public and private sectors.

This event will be an opportunity to meet the five winners of round two of the GovTech Catalyst challenge. There were 25 challenges submitted.

The successful challenges were:

• Improving fire fighter safety and operational response
• Making better use of data to guide public sector audits
• Detecting and quickly identifying more illicit goods at the border
• Understanding the overlaps between business regulations
• Guaranteeing prescription continuity while people move between care providers

There will be presentations from all 5 winners followed by structured networking and an opportunity to meet the winners and discuss their challenge.

Those attending will be from: GDS Innovation; Central Government; Local Government; tech suppliers to Government; and innovative start-ups in the GovTech space.
