In the past year, the cyber security landscape has evolved rapidly and attacks have increased in numbers and sophistication, from a wider range of sources. Cyber threat actors are commonly split into three groups: nation states, cyber criminals and cyber activists or hacktivists. These threat factors look set to continue to advance their capabilities.
