Written by Robin Knowles, Founder and CEO, Digital Leaders

The summer is coming to an end and schools are back next week. As we start to make our way through a busier commute on Monday morning, there has never been a better time to kickstart your digital September, supported by the new Digital Leaders Autumn programme.

The programme promises an exciting year ahead and I have chosen six announcements below to coincide with everyone’s return. I believe these events are worth your time and attention.

Digital Leaders Insight Live Week

From the 4-8th November 2019, Digital Leaders are launching a new initiative ‘Insight Live‘; a virtual conference you can take part in without leaving the comfort of your desk. Even better, unlike physical conferences where you end up sitting through the content you don’t need, Insight Live lets you dip in and watch the specific talks on the topics that matter the most to you.

You can sign up to any of the 10 topics you’d like to follow and we’ll keep you up to date, add them to your calendar, alert you when they are happening and share a recording afterward.

If you would like to make a presentation of your own then please let me know.

Power & Responsibility Summit, 9 October, British Library

If you are not yet ready to give up face to face conferences, then join me in the audience for my pick of the Autumn Conferences. The second Power & Responsibility Summit explores how technology, policy and regulation can respond to the unintended consequences of the digital age and the societal and economic issues we face.

It’s a great chance to hear from speakers including: Caroline Criado Perez, author of “Invisible Women”; Catherine Mayer, founder of Datum Future and the Women’s Equality Party; Sana Khareghani, Head of the Government office for AI; and Paul Van Zyl founder of The Conduit Club, to name a few in the amazing line up. See all speakers here

Digital Leaders Podcast (Series 3)

Our Autumn series starts in early November with 6 new and inspiring digital leaders sharing their journeys, current passions and initiatives, offering their lessons as a digital leader in their industry. We will be revealing the full line up soon, but as a sneak preview, we can confirm that Professor Sue Black OBE will be joining us. If you missed out on Series 1 and 2 they are available here. Subscribe on Apple Podcasts to be the first to hear new episodes.

Digital Leaders Events

Our September programme already has 18 events so far, including our Academy training from our partner at techUK at a special discounted rate for Digital Leaders Members. You can check out the September and October training available here

A new home page layout

Finally, we are always looking to improve our user journey, making it easier to find our content on events. We have therefore given the Digital Leaders homepage a tweak, adding the four sectors and our four annual conferences. They now each have their own row on the home page, allowing us to simplify our header topics to only 10. We hope you like it.
