Join Aswini Dasika, one of DWP’s principal software engineers and expert in architecture, design and web applications build, to learn more about the next big thing: voice-first platforms.

Speakers will discuss:

  • Why modern web applications developers should think of voice user interfaces.
  • What the benefits, limitations and pitfalls are.
  • How voice user interfaces are emerging in the modern world of technology.
  • How this technology can help mainstream and vulnerable users access internet applications.

The workshop will demonstrate Amazon’s ‘Alexa Skills’ and you’ll have opportunity to to ask questions, play some Alexa games and try out some Alexa skills. You’ll also get the chance to find out more about machine learning and natural language processing. There will be opportunities for networking and finding out more about career opportunities in DWP Digital.
