Join Geovation in Birmingham, for a two-hour GeoTech Masterclass on GeoData visualisation. The workshop, run by Ordnance Survey’s GeoDataViz (GDV) team, will feature both presentations and hands-on exercises, where you’ll learn how to design your own map for web and mobile applications.

We’ll discuss the origins of the GDV team, introduce our GDV toolkit and give an overview of our well-established cartographic design principles. We’ll then conclude with an exercise that will teach you how to design your own map for web and mobile applications where you will undertake some GIS analysis, data loading and cartographic styling using Mapbox Studio and QGIS.

To get the most out of this event please bring your own laptop. You will need to install QGIS and create a free Mapbox account.
