It’s not enough to have the technology. You have to ask how it will make a difference to people’s lives. Join this talk by Smart Oxford to hear how this technology makes a difference.

The Smart Oxford programme is the joint Oxford City/Oxfordshire County project looking at ways to use technology (from smartphone apps to autonomous vehicles) to improve the lives of citizens and communities in the Oxford city region. This talk will look at the vision and the work so far to allow Oxfordshire to capitalise on the digital revolution.

Attend this talk to listen to Tony Hart:

Tony took on the role of Head of Smart Oxford in July 2018, having worked over the past 35+ years in and with a number of technology companies from multinationals (Intel, Cisco etc) to local start-ups (Digital Oxford, Packetvision, Culloma).

Meetings are free to attend and non-BCS members are welcome. It is helpful to us if you register, for catering purposes, but not essential.
For overseas delegates who wish to attend the event please note that BCS does not issue invitation letters.
