The Data Innovation Accelerator, based at Cardiff University’s School of Computer Science and Informatics, would like to invite SMEs to its launch in Cardiff city centre.

Short speeches will begin at 18.00, followed by networking, refreshments and data science demonstrations.

The Data Innovation Accelerator project has been part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh Government with the aim of increasing the successful translation of data science research and innovation at Cardiff University into new and improved commercial products, processes and services.

The data science team works collaboratively with SMEs in the ‘East Wales’ region (Vale of Glamorgan, Cardiff, Newport, Monmouth, Powys, Wrexham and Flintshire) to address specific short-term business challenges and to explore avenues for future integration of data science techniques into companies’ day-to-day operations.
