Hack the North 2.0

23 November @ 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm, The Studio, 51 Lever Street, Manchester, M1 1FN

Hack the North

Digital Leaders are teaming up with DWP to support their second Hack the North event, which is part of a programme of activity linked to the new DWP Digital Centre in Manchester.

The challenge this year is to identify where hand-offs between organisations cause difficulty or hardship to individuals, and to explore how support services offered by organisations in and around Manchester could be brought together most effectively for the benefit of people in the region. This event, using a variety of data sources, hopes to generate ideas and co-create solutions which could make a difference to real people’s lives – whilst also helping Manchester thrive both socially and economically.

The event will be held across two days, from 1pm – 6pm on Friday 23 November where there will be presentations from a range of speakers including Joe Drumgoole from MongoDB and Amul Batra from Northcoders.. It will then start again from 8.30am to 4pm on Saturday 24 November.

Developers, engineers and data science specialists will be on hand with advice and tips.

Food and refreshments will be provided. Places at the event are limited, so please register now to avoid disappointment.
