Online harassment and abuse have increased in the past few years. From trolling, bullying, doxxing, lurking and cursing – online spaces have become toxic for many people including children and young people, people of colour, politicians, women and the LGBTQ community.
Attend this salon, with lead discussants from Liverpool University including Dr. Craig Haslop, Lecturer in Media and Communication, Dr. Emily Harmer, Lecturer in Media and Dr. Rosalynd Southern, Lecturer in Political Communication to learn more about this phenomena and how can organisations and people create safer environments for people to interact, share ideas and work together.
The salon will be followed by networking drinks hosted at the same venue.
Limited tickets are available for this event, so please register today to avoid disappointment.
