This workshop is for anyone who’s interested in launching a startup, particularly those who are considering the Ignite Pre-X accelerator programme in September 2019.

The session will start with an overview of Ignite and the format for the Pre-X programme, including an opportunity to hear from alumni who went through the programme in 2018.

We’ll then be exploring the challenges that we’re focused on this year – Ageing and Immersive Technology, through a hands on workshop.

We’ll be splitting up into small groups to explore challenges like:

• Using technology to prevent isolation
• How can gaming prevent cognitive decline?
• What role can technology play in supporting an ageing workforce?
• How could we use VR to assist with chronic pain?

Whether you’ve already started a business, have an idea or are just keen to launch your own business but not sure what you want to work on then this event is for you.

This will be a great opportunity to get creative and to learn the tools and techniques that we use to help people turn their ideas into reality, and possibly even to meet a co-founder!
