Workshop: A City Imagining

19 June @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich, 216 Falls Road, Belfast, BT12 6AH

Belfast City Council have recently launched a draft ten year cultural strategy A City Imagining. The strategy is open for consultation until 10 July, and we want to hear what you think. You can find out more and download a digital version of A City Imagining here.

The preparation for this strategy has included thousands of one to one conversations with citizens all across the city. This work recognised our city’s complex cultural challenges and presented an opportunity to recognise the transformative power of culture, art and creativity. We have also built on the commitments and achievements of previous strategies and frameworks, promoting culture led development with the individual citizen at the heart of the process.

As part of the public consultation process, we want to keep the conversation going, and would be thrilled if you could join us for a chat about what this strategy means for you. Light bites and refreshments will be provided.

We’ll be based at Culturlann Macadam o Fiaich on Wednesday 19th June and will be running a workshop on the priorities of the strategy from 6pm – 7pm. If you’d like to join us for this specific workshop, please sign up via this EventBrite page.

If you can’t make this workshop, please do call in for a chat with us, we’ll be there between 11am to 7pm. There’s also another workshop at 1 pm to 2 pm.

We’re releasing our full creative potential and we are an exciting work in progress. Belfast is a city imagining.

Attendance is free of charge, but please register to avoid disappointment.
