Women in Tech: Transforming our organisations

26 January @ 8:30 pm - 10:30 am, Reading

In late January Digital Leaders South East will hold a salon in the Thames Valley to address the growing Digital skills gap.

It is generally accepted that as a nation we are struggling to keep pace with the need for digital and skills. A recent National Audit Office report states that the “UK digital skills gap across all industries exacerbates the government’s situation, even before considering demands of transformation”.

Led by our discussants including, Gini Ekstein, Business Psychologist and Director at Microsoft, and Leigh Smyth, Head of Group Digital Inclusion, Consumer Digital, Lloyds Banking Group, the salon will discuss and address the following challenges:

  • How do we accelerate the development of women in these roles?
  • What are the barriers and challenges that women face in a Digital environment?
  • What do we need to change in our Digital DNA to promote the growth of women in leadership?
  • How do we get Digital into the DNA of girls and young women?

Places are limited, so please register now to avoid disappointment. The free-to-attend Salon also includes a networking breakfast.
