Training with Code Club

19 June @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm, Mithras building, Room G31, University of Brighton, Lewes Road, Brighton, BN2 4AT

Code Club is a nationwide network of educators and volunteers who run free after-school clubs for young people aged 9–13 to learn digital making skills. All training and resources are provided, so participants don’t need a background in coding to get involved.

Teachers (Primary or Secondary) and volunteer STEM Ambassadors (new or existing) are invited to come along to this free training/networking workshop to:

  • Find out more about how to get involved with Code Club
  • Get tips and ideas before starting a club
  • Try their free coding resources which include Scratch (drag-and-drop perfect for learning to code, for Primary children) and/or Python or HTML for Secondary children.

The session will be interactive, and attendees have plenty of opportunities to ask questions about getting involved with Code Club.
