22 February @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, GDS Academy, Platform, 5th floor, New Station Street, Leeds, LS1 4JB
In the last 5 years, the UK government flagship digital and technology skills programme GDS Academy has taught 10,000 public servants across the UK the digital skills and awareness they need to transform public services.
To celebrate this achievement and its fifth Anniversary, the GDS Academy is hosting a lunchtime event at its brand new offices in Leeds. Kevin Cunnington, Director General of GDS (founder of the Academy at DWP back in 2014) will talk about its journey, Chris Fergusson, GDS’s Director of National, International and Research will address the future and you’ll hear from students about the impact the courses have had on their career. There will also be a bitesize learning session on AI, which is an important part of the GDS Academy curriculum for 2019.
If you’d like to attend this free event and hear from senior leaders about GDS’s ambition to build one of the world’s most digitally skilled population of public servants, please click the button to sign up.
