Bringing the Greater Manchester business community together to discuss topics that matter, this week we tackle cybersecurity.

About this Event

Are you a business owner or considering starting up and based in Greater Manchester?

Brought to you in collaboration between the Lloyds Bank Academy and the Lloyds Bank Business Hub and Events Team, ‘Get Talking Tuesdays business network’ will be hosted every other Tuesday and welcomes everyone from pre-start up stage to growing businesses.

This week we look at cybersecurity and how COVID has given new opportunities for fraudsters to take advantage of unprepared businesses, charities and individuals. We’ll hear from two special guest speakers:

• Detective Superintendent Neil Jones, Public Protection & Serious Crime Division, Greater Manchester Police, and Director of the Cyber Resilience Centre for Greater Manchester

• Simon Minton, Global Cybersecurity Advisor at CISCO

Come along and find out what you can do to protect yourself from fraud.

To support this session the Lloyds Bank Academy is also hosting a session for charities and small businesses to help them to spot and stop fraud in their organisations, on Thursday 4th May. You can find out more by visiting the event page here: http://lloydsbankacademy1.eventbrite.com/
