DL Cities Workshop: IoT, 5G, Smart City Talent

12 February @ 12:30 pm - 5:00 pm, Wigan

Cities Workshop

As part of the 2020 DL Cities Programme, we will convene for the inaugural DL Cities Workshop on 12th February 2020.

During the workshop the invited delegates will have a choice of four discussion topics which have been selected by representatives of the ten different Digital Leaders Cities.

The four topics which will be discussed are:

  1. Internet of things applications: what works so far?
  2. 5G networks: how can 5G enhance the lives of citizens in city regions?
  3. Smart City skills/talent growth: what new skills do we need to build or attract?
  4. Smart Transport: how can cities lead the way in solving the last mile problem?

Each attendee will have an opportunity to participate in the discussion on two of the four topics.

The aim of the workshop is to share best practice between city regions and to promote the good work already being done across the country. Expert moderators will also be in attendance to guide group discussion throughout the afternoon.

Wigan Council are kindly hosting us and lunch will be included as well as networking and drinks at the end of the two sessions.

Please register your interest for an invitation to attend. This is an invitation only event.
