19 June @ 7:30 am - 9:00 am, The London Stock Exchange
On Monday 19th June at 7.30am, we launched the first ever Digital Leaders Week at the London Stock Exchange.
We sent out a clarion call to kick-start the week by ringing the Opening Trading Bell at 8am to serve as a reminder of the journey from the previous industrial age into our new digital economy era followed by breakfast, speeches and networking.
Digital Leaders Week helped enable the leaders of today become the leaders for a new Digital Industrial Age. The week raised awareness of the opportunities in place to support leadership and to support transformation across the UK by leveraging innovation, skills and experience from across the tech sector and from across the country and with a particular focus on our 11 DL Local regions outside of London.
As well as ringing the Opening Trading Bell we had fantastic guest speakers on the agenda including our Chair Lord Francis Maude and subject to having been appointed and their diary, the Minister for Digital and Culture and LSE Non-Executive, Sherry Coutu.
