Panel Discussion: The role of ‘Tech for Good’ in addressing mental health
June 20 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
London
20 June @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Council Chamber, Lambeth Town Hall, 1 Brixton Hill, London SW2 1RW
A cross-sector panel and interactive roundtable discussion on opportunities to work collaboratively to develop and streamline digital access to financial support.
As millions of households face financial difficulties compounded by the rising costs of living, it is more essential than ever to ensure they receive much-needed support. Many charities, local authorities, housing associations and corporations offer support in the form of grants, advice or in-kind provisions, but these are rarely joined up and hence challenging for individuals to navigate. As such, there is an opportunity to increase collaboration to streamline the digital journey for individuals and find ways to achieve more together than apart.
Hosted by Lightning Reach and Lambeth Council, this interactive discussion will kick off with insights from a panel of sector leaders involved in the Social Innovation Council, a cross-sector group of organisations collaborating to provide support for people facing financial hardship (https://www.lightningreach.
There will also be the opportunity to chat and network with fellow attendees and the panellists at the end of the session.
Speakers include the following:
Chris Flynn – Assistant Director of Homeownership & Rents, Lambeth Council
Donal Watkin – Chief Executive, Association of Charitable Organisations
John Gleeson – Head of Funding and Innovation, Southern Housing Group
Steve Baynes – Head of Grants and Social Policy, Royal British Legion
Ren Yi Hooi – Founder and CEO, Lightning Reach
