Last night at the 10th Digital Leaders 100 Awards we gathered high above London at the Shard to meet this year’s winners. The Awards are a highlight of the UK’s National Digital Week taking place from 20-24 June.
Despite the rail strike, members of the DL100 list joined us from across the UK together with the alumni members of the DL100 Club, sponsors and special guests to celebrate 10 years of the awards.
Headline sponsors were FTSE100 tech company Sage.
As well as finding out the winners in the ten categories there were winners in: the inaugural Blockchain Innovation Category (EarthID); the people’s choice award voted for by 12,000, won by (CGI and the Valuation Office Agency); the Founders Award won by (entrepreneur Rob Wilmot); and digital community group Digital Dundee walked away with the £5,000 Craig MacDonald Memorial Prize
The Overall Winner and #1 on the list was won by the Digital skills to mobilise nursing staff programme: by the Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
In the categories focused on individuals:
Chris Meah, Founder & CEO of School of Code, won Digital Leader of the Year for his work in creating a business with real, measurable social impact in the tech industry.
Dylan McKee, CEO of Nebula Labs won Young Digital Leader of the Year for his work delivering tech for good programmes.
