Almost 5 years ago, the Inaugural Digital Leaders Wales event was entitled “Digital Skills in Wales”. Steve Williams, Deputy Director of Information Services and Systems at Swansea University spoke of the need to enthuse more people about the opportunities having digital skills open up for individuals and the economy.

This salon revisits the state of Digital Skills in Wales from the point of view of organisational and economic need. It will celebrate the advances made and share best practice along with identifying the continuing need to ‘enthuse about and deliver the opportunities for skills development’.

The speakers will include Sally Meecham, Director Digital Public Services Programme, Welsh Government, Ben Proctor, Technical Director at Satori Lab and Tom Crick MBE, Professor in Digital Learning and Technology at Swansea University.

Light refreshments will be available.
