In 2013 Glasgow was selected as the Innovate UK Future Cities Demonstrator. Since then, Glasgow has been quietly building upon its smart city capabilities. Launched in 2018 Digital Glasgow Strategy sets out a bold aim for Glasgow to be;

“The most innovative and pioneering smart city in the world”.
