Announced yesterday by TV personality, Maggie Philbin at the launch event in London, I have joined the exclusive DL100 list, one of 100 finalists across 10 categories. The Digital Leader of the Year will now be decided by a combination of public vote and an ‘all-star’ judging panel with voting closing on 9th June.
The winners of each category will be announced at a ceremony in Central London on 22nd June, where digital leaders from across the UK’s public, private and non-profit sectors will gather to celebrate.
Speaking of her nomination, Elizabeth said:
“I am thrilled and honoured to be a finalist for Digital Leader of the Year, which is all the more special as the nomination comes from my peers within the industry.
We have for many years been strong supporters of the Digital Leaders Network and the DL100 Awards because they do a terrific job in recognising and celebrating diversity in all its guises across the digital marketplace. This includes actively encouraging the modest but growing number of female leaders that contribute to the UK’s success as a leading Digital nation and economy.”
Founder and CEO of Digital Leaders, Robin Knowles also commented at the launch:
“We are once again proud to see the incredible recognition of leading female role models in the DL100. As a list that is nominated from our extensive Digital Leaders network, we’re always eager to see new names and faces featured on the list, and to have achieved such a diverse mix of names from all sectors is a huge achievement for the Digital Leaders community. There are few organisations that can claim they have successfully gathered a list with 50/50 representation! We’re extremely excited to see who comes out top in our public vote!”
Online voting is now open on the DL100 website and we’d encourage all readers to support our incredible CEO: http://www.digileaders100.com/.
