Work has changed drastically in the past decade. The gig-economy, click-workers and on-demand work have changed the notion of work, contracts and rights.

In the past few months workers from various companies such as Uber, Google and Deliveroo have unionised and started to demand rights, while facing demonstrations against their own work from their fellow workers in the more traditional and established industries.

Join us at the next DL Research salon, with lead discussants including Dr Jamie Woodcock, Researcher from the Oxford Internet Institute (OII), Dama Sathianathan, Communications Manager from Bethnal Green Ventures and Douglas White, Head of Advocacy at the Carnegie UK Trust who will look into current debates around digital work and gig economy and explore what are new challenges around it.
