Margaret Whoriskey and Cat Macaulay, two of the finalists in this year’s Digital Leader category for DL100, will jointly host an event to launch the Technology Enabled Care Pathfinders. They will be joined by the Scottish Government Director Generals for Health & Social Care and for Organisational Development & Operations.
The ‘TEC Pathfinders’ will be at the forefront of combining the Scottish Approach to Service Design with the use of technology enabled care for improved wellbeing.
Involving stakeholders from across health, social care, housing, third and independent care sectors, participants will be involved in a discussion on, and be able to shape our approach to:
• Creating the conditions: national support for local change;
• Embedding the Scottish approach to service design, including citizen involvement;
• Involving housing and third sector partners to ensure a place-based focus; and
• Developing knowledge exchange to benefit health and social care services across the UK.
