19 March @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm, University of Liverpool in London, 33 Finsbury Square, London, EC2A 1AG
The Internet of Things has been an ongoing promise for the past few decades. As more of our devices, vehicles and even fridges get entangled in complex networks, they also create different types of connections. This salon will explore the nature of the Internet of things in terms of its influence on our relationship with everyday objects, gender and government policies.
Join us at the next DL Research salon, with lead discussants including Dr. Mercedes Bunz, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Digital Humanities, King’s College London; and Dr. Leonie Tanczer, Lecturer in International Security and Emerging Technologies at University College London’s (UCL).
