Digital Trustees Scotland brings tech and charity together. Charities across Scotland require digital specialists to join their board of trustees. Digital specialists across Scotland want to volunteer their time effectively in a strategic role but often don’t know where to start.

This Edinburgh event gives charities and those working in the technology sector the chance to connect via matchmaking. The aim is to have a 50/50 charity/digital attendees split.

You will hear from digital professionals about their trustee journey and charities sharing their experiences of having a digital expert on their board. There will be an opportunity to discuss the role of digital trustees during a Q&A plus we’ll be signposting you to a range of useful resources on the night to help you recruit the right digital trustee.

Sally Dyson, SCVO, will be talking us through ‘Digital Trustee – the right type for governance’. This short session will help you think about how to recruit the right person and what role they should play on your board.

The event will serve coffee, tea, soft drinks, mince pies and festive nibbles!
