The recent Economist Intelligence Unit report onGobal Digital Enterprise identified that in their opinion 8% of their C-Suite survey respondents were “digital leaders” — or led enterprises that are entirely digital across all major functions. Regardless of size, industry or geographic location, they conclude that these digitally led enterprises are outperforming the competition, and they share some similar characteristics in terms of what they’re doing to get ahead.
In this salon, we explored the opportunities and challenges for a Digital Leader. Alongside celebrating the success of programmes that are run in Scotland.
Lead discussants including Alison Mclaughlin, Regional Director – Scotland and Northern Ireland at Sopra Steria and Colin Cook, Director of Digital at Scottish Government gave out valuable insight from the approaches that have worked well for themselves as digital leaders.
