Organisational and data silos are now the enemy of progress. Leaders need to break down barriers between data scientists, engineers, their SMT and the C-Suite to foster collaboration and encourage innovation. AI development isn’t a solitary pursuit. Data scientists possess the technical expertise to build models, but they need engineers to translate those models into real-world applications. Breaking down communication barriers between these groups will foster a collaborative environment. This cross-functional style of teamwork will ensure that AI solutions are not only technically sound, but also strategically aligned and meet the needs of your organisation.
