Salon: Accessibility and Inclusive Design – Beyond the Business Case

06 November @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm, The Trampery, 239 Old Street, EC1V 9EY

Adi Latif

The rationale for investing in online accessibility is fairly well recognised. But what happens when you move beyond the WHY and into the HOW?

Join our lead discussants Adi Latif, Accessibility Consultant at AbilityNet and Geoff Mossman, Head of Digital Service at Lloyds Banking Group as we discuss practical ways that organisations of all sizes and sectors can deliver inclusive online products and services.

We will explore:

  • How do you embed best practice in the daily work of the people who are designing, developing and building your websites and apps?
  • Carrot vs. stick? Evangelising vs. directive?
  • How do you influence the culture and attitudes of your teams so accessibility becomes the norm?
  • What resources do you need to provide to your colleagues?

The salon will be a great opportunity to share tips and practical ideas with others who have experienced this for themselves.

The discussion will be followed by networking drinks hosted at the same venue.

Places at the event are limited, so please register now to secure your ticket.
