Making Tax Digital is arriving in April 2019 and will affect all VAT registered businesses with a taxable turnover above the VAT threshold of £85,000. If you currently prepare your VAT returns by hand or on a computer spreadsheet you will need to make changes.
Attend this free breakfast seminar to discuss what MTD entails, in oder to ensure your business plan in place ready for when it arrives.
Seminar Schedule:
For businesses with a turnover above the VAT threshold and all unincorporated businesses, partnerships or charities you will have to start keeping digital records and submit digital VAT returns electronically via new API-Enabled products (meaning a set of clearly defined methods of communications between various software products) and NOT via VAT online from your first VAT return period on or after 1st April 2019.
That means if you are currently using desktop software like Sage or Quickbooks, running your business via an Excel spreadsheet or perhaps not even keeping digital records at all, you should be making the switch to a cloud-based platform- and the time to do it is now.
Join the event to learn how the software can work practically day-to-day and reduce the manual inputting of data, presented by Xero migration certified accountants and their Gold partners.
