Digital Leaders LEP Group: Exploring Digital High Street initiatives
The LEP Group met for the second time at GFirst Growth hub in Gloucester on Tuesday the 11th October. The theme for the day was the ‘Digital High Street’ and the group heard from a number of organisations and stakeholders that provided thought leadership, global insights and shared their current innovative projects in a number of regions throughout the UK.
The high street is changing and digital adoption is critical to ensure the physical bricks and mortar retail offer is integrated with the digital tools available to enhance the consumer experience. The LEPs present were all aware of this and view a healthy high street and town centre as critical to the economic prosperity of their region.
