The announcement was made at the London announcement of Digital Leaders Week 2020 on Tuesday 25 February.
#TechFest4SocialGood will kick off Digital Leaders Week in Wales and will be framed around the question, “How can digital technology help us to deliver on the aspirations of the Well-being of Future Generations Act (Wales)?” The festival is for social enterprises, community groups, voluntary organisations, the public sector and charities keen to explore digital solutions, ideas, innovations and technologies that could help them work more efficiently and increase their impact.
The event will feature an interactive exhibition space showcasing the innovative solutions that are shaping the future of the sector. Alongside the technology expo, digital leaders from the public, private, third and social business sectors will be there to share their knowledge and experience of using technology for social good.
“We are extremely excited to be working with Nesta, the innovation foundation, and CAST, the Centre for the Acceleration of Social Technology, to put on this event, which is the first of its kind in Wales. Watch this space over the coming months for more information about the amazing things we have planned for the festival!”
