At Enterprise scale, digital transformation is central to remaining relevant in a digital age and competing in markets being disrupted weekly by new entrants with digital solutions, lower overheads and no legacy systems in place. This digital transformation needs leadership from the top, a focus on people and talent, and the adoption of startup and innovation platforms that introduce new cultures and behaviours to organisations. To succeed, leaders must focus on “hard wiring” digital into their organisation structures, processes, systems and incentives.
