LEP Digital Group Meeting – 11th May in Saunderton
With the uncertainty of European funding post BREXIT and no guarantees of current funding from the UK Government to continue beyond 2017/18, the topic and discussion for the day – “Growth hub sustainability” was of real interest to invited Growth hub and interested stakeholders present.
At the quarterly meeting held at Buckinghamshire Business First Growth hub in Saunderton, the Digital Leaders LEP Group came together to share best practice, learn from each other and also interact with those that shared their insights on sustaining Growth hubs over the longer term.
It was encouraging that many Growth hubs present have already set up and are testing various sustainable programmes that will ensure they become less dependent on external Government, European funding as they develop their own revenue streams.
