Promoting Skills Growth in the East of England

06 October @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Cambridge Judge Business School

To sustain the fast-paced and dynamic growth in the region, it will need its schools, academic institutions, and existing work force to develop relevant digital skills. This will also ensure the East of England continues to be an attractive location for people with the relevant skills to stay in the region to help develop and grow the economy. It also needs to present itself as an attractive location for people with skills to stay to avoid a brain drain east to London.
In this salon we will discuss :

  • What are the plans now being made for schools to meet this challenge
  • Hear from business about the challenges of hiring and retaining top talent; and
  • Hear from the University sector about how their courses are relating to enterprise and SME needs as well as links between the academic world and exciting startup space.

Join our lead discussants including Mark Thompson from the Cambridge Judge Business School; and Denis Kaminsky, Director and Co-Founder at Arcus Global.
The salon will be followed by Networking Drinks.
