Embedding Agile: Lessons from the DWP Academy

08 June @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Leeds

This DL Yorkshire salon welcomes the DWP Academy which will share the lessons learnt from adopting an agile methodology.

The DWP Digital Academy will be presenting on their work to date; the curriculum they offer to civil servants, and the challenges they face embedding agile and user centred design into government.

The salon will also discuss what makes this process successful:

  • positive attitude
  • drive for the team to succeed
  • willingness to fail

Join our lead discussants including Annette Sweeney, Head of the Digital Academy at Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and Sally Shaw, National Delivery Manager at the DWP Digital Academy,  who will share the lessons learnt before we open up to a round table debate.

The discussion will be facilitated by Adam Beaumont, DL Yorkshire Chair and aql CEO.

The discussion will be followed by networking drinks. The number of places is limited so please register in advance to secure your free seat.
