Digital Apprenticeships – enabling businesses to grow their skills base

09 March @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm, Edinburgh

This year for the first time Scotland has coordinated its Apprenticeships Week to be the same as England’s and so we will be joining the rest of the UK DL community to discuss the growing importance of the role of digital apprentices to bring the next generation of skilled young people who are choosing not to go to University into the Scottish digital economy.

Whether in Government, the private sector or non-profit there is a growing recognition of the opportunity offered by those not going to university or those combining university with an apprenticeship for a win-win, providing both the employer with new talent and the young people with a varied and exciting learning experience.

Join our lead discussants, including ‎Tai McLennan, Talent Strategy Specialist – Central Government Digital Transformation Service at The Scottish Government for the discussion on:

  • How to attract this talent
  • Funding available
  • The new apprentice levy
  • Practical examples of local success

The salon will be followed by Networking Drinks.

Please register your interest in attending the Salon in advance, to avoid disappointment.
